Personally Speaking….
I started April the poorest I have ever been, I was really worried how I would make it through the week let alone the month, then out of the blue some work came in and I actually ended up with more than usual! It means I was able to buy a few bits for summer, pay a few bills early and treat my mum to a lovely lunch out! Other than that I also attended the London BBlogger Meetup which was amazing, it meant I got to meet some lovely bloggers and also to get over my ‘first time’ fear of going to an event.
We put our house sale on hold after we had a run of bad luck with it. Firstly we weren’t getting anywhere near the level of interest we needed but we then had one prospective buyer want to view the house FOUR times and they still came back and said no! I can’t pretend this didn’t make me a bit tearful and wonder if we were ever going to get the place sold! We have now decided to just advertise the house online, it is cheaper and attracts the biggest amount of buyers so from next month we will be trying again! I also started therapy this month which has been a real turning point for me in regards to my recovery. I have been ever so lucky to find a therapist who just gets me and what I want to achieve from the sessions and from life in general, I am a long way from being 100% but I now know I will one day be ok, which compared to this time last year is almost a miracle!
Blogging News…
I have been quite productive on the blog this month, I have changed the layout (as you can see!) and I think this style totally suits me and what I want from blogging. It has the feel of my wardrobe and my room decor to it so although some might see it as a little plain I just see it as uncomplicated and fresh which is what I like to be surrounded by!
