Nails Inc Leather Effect Nails

So last week I showed you the concrete nails nail polish by Nails Inc and I thought I would follow up with this post about the other new offering from Nails Inc the ‘leather effect’ nail polish. This one comes in a set with 4 little silver skulls and glue to attach them to whichever nail you want to accessorise. I have to say I didn’t enjoy using this polish as much as the concrete nails polish. I think it is a little more ‘fragile’ than the concrete effect polish and I found it might look dry but it actually needs a bit of extra drying time. I actually had to redo mine as I scuffed them because I thought they were dry (typical me!) It applies like a very glossy black polish and then you watch as it dries to a more grey black matte leather finish. It really does look like leather and it feels nicer than the concrete polish.

I think I might pop a top coat on to keep it chip free as I do like this take on a plain black polish, darker colours can be pretty hard to wear but this one is quite a flattering black. If your having a night out or want something a bit edgy for work then this could be your go to polish, I’m not sure if it is one I would repurchase though, there isn’t anything wrong with it but I just wasn’t 100% sold on it! I love the little skulls though and I have removed them and reapplied them a few times now without a problem!
