Lush ‘BIG’ Sea Salt Shampoo

Ok this has to be the weirdest shampoo in the world! I wasn’t really sure it would work for me and was pretty convinced it wouldn’t lather at all and I would end up chucking it away….however I really enjoyed using it! Firstly I should explain that this looks like an ordinary shampoo but it is full to the brim with chunks of coarse sea salt, when you work it through your hair you literally end up with sea salt all over yourself! I couldn’t work out what the smell reminded me of, and then I washed my face and I realised it smells just like the Origins Brighter by Nature face wash. It has seaweed, coconut, neroli, limes, mandarin, orange flower absolute, vanilla and lemon in it, so basically it just smells diiiiiiiivine!

 I followed the instructions which say to slowly work it through the hair creating a lather as you go, I found it lathered up really well and I actually looked like I had a bubble helmet at one point, it also says to shampoo twice so I followed this and found my hair felt very clean but a little dry if I am honest, I added a teeny bit of conditioner to my ends and then washed it out thoroughly. When I dried my hair it was full of volume and was so shiny! I have been suffering with a bit of product build up in my hair and have found it just looks lank but ‘BIG’ gave it a new lease of life. I don’t know if I would use this every day, I think I will stick to using it once a week, it comes in a 335g pot and you need to scoop a fair bit out per use so I don’t think it would work out too cost effective to use it daily. I really would recommend it if your suffering with lank hair or product build up and I will definitely be repurchasing this one!
