Sleek Face Form Contouring and Blush Palette

Sleek Face Form Palette in Fair £10

I have been trying to get my hands on the Sleek Face Form Palette for ages but it has been sold out in my Superdrug since the day it launched, have any of you found it hard to get hold of certain cosmetics from Superdrug? My store recently had a big revamp so it stocks Essie and has a big MUA stand but they never seem to have enough stock for the stands which is annoying! Anyway, this lovely palette is a new(ish) offering from Sleek and features a matte brown powder for contouring, a peachy blush and a pinky/champagne coloured highlighter all in one palette. I would say the palette is about the same size as the blush by three palettes and the mirror is a nice touch too.

Colour wise, I picked the light palette as I am pretty pale, I contoured using the matte brown and found it had good colour payoff and was easy to blend which is important for a contouring powder as some of them can leave you looking like you’ve had a fake tan disaster! I really liked the peachy toned blush too although it did have slightly too much shimmer in it for me, I think if you have quite porous skin then you might find it highlights flaws but the colour is gorgeous, it reminds me of their ‘lifes a peach’ blush but with more shimmer, think more of a ‘NARS Orgasm’ style blush. The highlighter was really nice, I actually very rarely use any highlighting products as I don’t really like shimmery skin but this gave a nice glow to the skin without looking glittery or shiny.

I really enjoyed using the palette and I have been reaching for it when doing my make-up most days now which is unusual for me as I am not too loyal to products (I can’t be really with the ridiculous amount of makeup I have!) I think its a great contouring palette for the price and the perfect starter one if your new to contouring!
What do you think of contouring palettes?
Just another quick note that I am still looking for some guest bloggers so if your interested then feel free to email me at carlottasbeautyspot@hotmail.co.uk 🙂blog signature
