MUA Blush Perfection Cream Blusher Blossom Review

16/10/2012 · beauty · 0

MUA Blush Perfection in Blossom £2
The Blush Perfection Cream Blushers from MUA where one of the most exciting new launches for me! I love cream blushers and have quite expensive taste when it comes to them, I have built up quite a collection of Illamasqua blushers which are amazing but very pricey! I was only able to get my hands on one of the 4 in the MUA collection but it was actually the one I had had my eye on anyway. ‘Blossom’ is a nude/peach tone very similar to the Illamasqua Zygomatic cream blush. When I first tried to swatch it the colour wouldn’t build up and I have to say I was a little disappointed, but after using my Real Techniques stippling brush I was able to get a really good colour pay off. It is noticeable without looking ‘too done’. I had read that they were designed to match the powder blushers and I used the blusher shade 03 on top and found they were perfectly matched. By using both I also noticed the colour lasted all day and I didn’t need to top up at all. I loved that as for me, blushers tend to disappear after a long day and I hate reapplying makeup on top of makeup as I think it is quite bad for your skin. I have been using this blusher for the last 3 days and have to say for me it has matched up in results to the Illamasqua cream blushers which surprised me. I would definitely recommend them if your unsure of cream blushers and want to try them before purchasing more expensive ones!

What do you think of cream blushers? Are you more of a powder or gel blush sort of girl or do you just prefer bronzer?
Let me know!
