GOSH Boombastic XXL Volume Mascara £7.49
I have to say I am so impressed with this mascara! I think the pictures speak for themselves really and I am kicking myself for never trying GOSH before! This mascara is aptly named Boombastic (incidentally that it was made me buy it as my first ever pet was called Mr Boombastic, don’t judge he was a very chirpy canary who liked to have a little head bop to Shaggy, god I am showing my age now!). So back to the mascara, the wand was really well made, and I really liked the shape of the bristles as they are in strips up the wand rather then all over it. I found this made the mascara distribute much more evenly on the wand and it was really easy to apply it. I particularly liked how it fanned my lashes out and built volume without being heavy or hard to separate my lashes. I think if you tried to use more than 2 coats you could end up with a more spiky look, but I guess that is down to personal preference, I personally hate clumpy looking lashes on me but on some people they good great! I would go as far as saying this is one of my top mascara picks and is such good value for money. I am wearing it today and the first thing my dad said to me this morning was ‘don’t you scrub up well!’ which from him is a major compliment (men!). I picked my mascara up in Superdrug but I can’t find it on the Superdrug or Boots website which means I can’t link it for you sorry, hopefully you can pick one up in your local store!!
