Body Shop Beautifying Oil Pink Grapefruit

02/07/2012 · beauty · 0

I picked this little gem up specifically for my holiday. At 100ml it is hand luggage friendly and as someone who really can’t stand creams and heavy body lotions I thought it would be a great alternative for keeping my skin hydrated.
Body Shop Beautifying Oil in Pink Grapefruit £9.00

Now alot has been said on the blogs about this beautifying oil. Some are calling it the cult product of 2012, some are calling it complete rubbish! Well I am actually kind of loving it! I picked the Pink Grapefruit scent but it comes in a variety of different ones (I have my eye on the Sweet Lemon too but thought it might attract mozzies!). It is very light and has almost a dry oil consistency (reminded me of a sun screen) and dries really quickly leaving behind a gorgeous dewy sheen to the skin. I would say for me it was a little too heavy in the hair, it felt more greasy then hydrating, but I think I will try it out as a sort of treatment for after my hair has been in the sun this week and report back to let you know how it went. I would recommend this as a body oil 100%. It smells gorgeous, a little goes a loooong way and it dries super quickly, so if your like me and you don’t like heavy body creams and lotions this would be perfect for you!

I even added some to my bath on holiday and it was just like a bath oil leaving my skin really soft and hydrated after too much sun!! xx

I bought the coconut for the same reason and used it in my hair as a treatment every night after a full day in the sun, it was brilliant!!! xx
