What have you all been doing today?
I had a day off today so I popped into town for some me time. I love it when it is sunny, for some reason I feel more confident to walk around on my own and just take in the beauty of Canterbury!! I think I will do a post on the Cathedral this week and the beautiful gardens inside the grounds (it’s still beauty right?).
I went into town to get some boxes for the international giveaway winners and popped into superdrug where I picked up a MaxFactor Flipstick Colour Effect lipstick. Have you seen them before? I hadn’t and was led to believe they are new but they weren’t displayed like a new product so I think they just passed me by!

I got the flipstick in Boreal Mauve. The flipsticks are described as having a creamy colour on one end with a iridescent colour on the other end. I usually hate iridescent colours as they remind me of those frosted lipsticks they used to have in the makeup sets I had as a kid!! But this one was really lovely and had definitely made me consider wearing them more in the future.
I really liked the colours and they definitely complimented each other. The packaging is clever as well and means I can pop it into my bag and can change my look in seconds which is always great if you are going straight from work to going out.

I also had a delivery of some platform wedges from H&M and some sunglasses as well which are huge and celeb styled and a bargain at £4.99!!!
The shoes were just £18.24 with a discount code I had for the online shop. I really wanted some flat platform wedges as I live in Canterbury which is just full of cobbles and means it is nearly impossible to wear heels without falling over!! I also used my Wet n Wild eye shadow palette to create a smokey but soft eye look for the day…what do you think?

I always miss the big sunnies in there as they sell out so quick so I was on it this year lol! Yeah I really like them, going to purchase a few more I think!! xx
The idea is such a clever one! I might have to have a little look when I’m next out shopping. Love those glasses too! H&M never disappoints!
