NARS Digital World Lip Pencil Coffret Review & Swatches!

As it’s a good time of year to be thinking about Christmas gifts I thought I would start sgharing some of my favourite gift sets and if I’ve managed to pick one up in advance I will feature a full review and swatches so you know whether it’s worth picking up for someone (or for yourself!) Todays review is of the new NARS Lip Pencil Coffret from the NARS Christmas 2014 collection.

First things first lets take a minute to appreciate how beautiful the packaging is! The pencils are houses in an acrylic box (very blogger inspired!) with a beautiful floral pattern all over, I love that the box can be reused- I am currently using it to house my more fancy lip products but it would be a great desk tidy too! Inside there are 5 lip pencils- NARS take on the ‘chubby stick’. The shade range is:

Iberico: A velvet matte tomato red (orange undertones) for pale girls this is a beautiful red lip colour which brightens your complexion!

Yu: A satin lipstick/pencil which is a seriously bright blue-toned hot pink (great for making your teeth look super white!)

 Torres Del Paine: A satin lipstick/pencil which is a bright peach shade.

Descanso: A satin lipstick/pencil which is a pinky nude shade.

Cruella: A velvet matte deep burgandy red, quite a vampy shade and a beautiful one for all skintones!

So the whole giftset comes in at £34 which I think is a pretty fantastic deal, you get 5 really well thought out shades from the NARS lip pencil collection, it would make a fantastic starter set for someone whose looking to try out new lip colours, there really is a shade for every occasion! I think it’s one of my favourite christmas gift sets from 2014 and I predict it will sell out so grab one whilst you can!
