Hi girlies and a happy December to you all! I did a little bit of shopping over the weekend (hence the m.i.a blog posts!) and I have to admit I am getting waaaay too old for all day trips to shopping centres! It was a lovely day out though, we went to see Catching Fire which was awesome and pretty close to the book and then we did some shopping. I picked up a fair few things but I did manage to get some fab deals so I thought I would share some of them with you!
I picked up some room decorations from TK MAXX, I am a big fan of their homeware and was inspired by Fleur’s Christmas video to pop down and see what was in store. I got this beautiful carved star which I *think* I was to sand and re-paint a grey or white shade and then have hanging from my door, I also got these pretty hooks for behind my door- they were a steal at £5.99 for 2 (I saw similar ones online for £15 each!) and I got this beautiful smelling candle from Bahoma called ‘Imperial’ which has a mixture of jasmine, cedar wood, patchouli and musk- it smells divine and cost just £5.99 (I found it on their website for £25!)
I also went to John Lewis to look at the Christmas decorations, I spotted these 3 little star votives for £6 and thought they would look lovely on my fireplace. Apart from that I was a bit disappointed with the decorations to be honest, I thought the ones in Next and in Marks and Spencer’s were much nicer than John Lewis or Selfridge’s and were well under half the price!
Beauty wise I picked up this set from Origins which was an absolute steal at £29. It includes a full size Make A Difference + moisturizer, the treatment lotion, hand cream and a travel sized Drink Up Intensive mask, as the moisturizer is worth more than that alone it’s definitely worth investing in the set, I picked this up in Boots and I *think* it’s only available there priced at £29 (it’s a half price offer so grab it whilst you can!)
I picked up 2 long line jumpers from H&M, one in an elephant grey and the other in a black and white stripe. These are easy to throw on with leggings or jeans and boots and perfect for layering plus they only cost £9.99 each! The top jumper was from Forever 21, it has a raglan sleeve design and it the comfiest jumper I have ever owned (I can’t find the link online but it cost £18).
As I reached 1000 followers on Bloglovin (a big big thank you to everyone who follows me on there!) and there was a 20% off ASOS voucher floating around I treated myself to the Olivia Burton watch which is just so perfect for everyday and I am really pleased I got it now as I believe it has sold out again!
The pillow was my absolute favourite thing though as it was a present from my Dad, I got home and it was sitting on my bed. It says ‘Do What You Love, Love What You Do’ and was a congratulations on 1000 bloglovin followers from him. He really is my biggest champion and always picks the best presents- I might have shed a little tear when I saw it ( I know, I am that soppy!)

Lovely present you father chose for you, parents are the best (though there are some moments in life we do not think so, they really are).
The watch is beautiful, I’m in love with one by Michael Kors but it is waaaay too expensive for me LOL
