On my quest to find the perfect mascara, I thought I would try out this new offering from Maybelline. Based on the original Volume Express Colassal Mascara (one of my all time favourites!) this new edition is Maybelline’s first ‘collagen formula enriched with matte shadow pigment which plumps lashes for the ultimate smoky look.’. The brush was really nice to use and the mascara applied evenly and without any clumping. I did notice it needed a good 2 coats before it started to build up my lashes but that meant I was able to control how much volume and length was achieved. I did feel that even without any other eye makeup on my eyes looked more defined and ‘done’ looking. Once I added liner to my lower lashes I really felt that I didn’t need any more eye makeup on which is very unusual for me! I would recommend this more as an evening mascara, it might be a little much for the day but it definitely works well to give you that sexy ‘smoky eye’ look so would be perfect for date night or a night out with the girls!

Hiya, that looks like a good mascara. I am looking myslef for a new perfect one, so far I love L’Oréal Paris Volume Million Lashes Luminizer, but I might try this one out when I run out. Great blogg too, please check mine – only a beginer tho 🙂
