When it comes to eyeshadows I can be a bit picky, I tend to go for neutral browns and greens with a little sprinkling of gold thrown in when I’m feeling fancy! I am way too lazy to use a product that’s hard work, eyeshadows have to be creamy, buttery soft and have excellent colour payoff or I just move on to another one. That’s why I had to share this little duo with you, it’s become my go to eyeshadow ‘palette’ for everyday wear and it’s so so beautiful!
The eyeshadow(s) in question is Topshop’s ‘Woodland Walk’ a beautiful duo with a dirty gold (sort of like a mixture of MAC’s All That Glitters and Patina) and a beautiful chocolate brown with a slight gold shimmer running through it. They are seriously some of the best eyeshadows I’ve ever tried, buttery soft and with amazing payoff, I use a fluffy brush to apply the gold shade all over the lid and then buff a little of the chocolate shade in the crease. It just makes for the perfect pairing, you can build the brown up for a more intense smokey eye or just wear the gold all over the lid for a beautiful day makeup look.
The best part about the shadow duo? It’s just £6 which is an absolute steal! I would say you could easily get away with just these two shadows for a holiday/weekend break and I really would highly recommend them. Topshop makeup in general is pretty excellent quality but this duo is a standout product for me and I haven’t seen a lot of coverage for it online so I just had to share!
