Apivita Express Gold with Papaya Face Mask
So thanks to my FOTD resolution for 2013 you all got to see some pictures of this face mask in action yesterday! I thought I would pop a review up because if your anything like me you might find that although they are a nice pampering treat, face masks don’t really seem to make a difference to your skin! This mask is from a brand called Apivita who I stumbled accross in a pharamcy in Kos on holiday. The Greek girl working there told me she was studying in the UK and that she brought these masks with her to England because they were her favourites. Now they had a billion different masks so I just bought one or two of a random selection, she was very sweet and gave me a few free which is really nice as they are about £3 for 2 here in the UK!
The couple who started the Apivita brand worked in a pharmacy in Athens where they started making beauty products with natural bee products and Greek herbs. I have to say this now…I am totally in love with this brand and this mask is a particular favourite of mine. It is in a sachet like most face masks but you need to add a few tablespoons of water and mix it in a little bowl to get a paste like consistancy, you then apply as you would with a normal face mask. As it dries it becomes VERY tight on the skin which is unlike a lot of peel masks I have used before which sort of go like PVA glue! This one really does peel off almost in one piece.  It left my skin a little pink so I wouldn’t recommend it for just before a night out but I found my skin felt  firmer and a lot softer. I also noticed that some dry patches of skin around my nose has disappeared and that my complexion really was glowing. I cannot recommend Apivita enough and would definitely recommend you check out their website for more information about their full range. You can also purchase products from Marks and Spencers which is handy although I would say no to going back to Kos to get more as it is the most beautiful place in the world to visit!

I know some lovely close ups right? I am a little pink after using the mask but my skin felt so lovely and soft, just like having a facial in a salon. I am totally sold on these masks and would 100% recommend you try this brand out for yourselves!
What face masks do you love?
Would you like to see a sort of ‘pamper me gorgeous’ step by step post on my favourite pampering products?
Let me know!
