Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet: Peach Club

Hi girlies firstly sorry for the big gap in posts, I’ve been packing up to move house and we lost our internet connection for a few days (damn BT!) and so have only just got it back up and running again, that’ll teach me for not preparing ahead! Today’s post is about a new favourite lip product of mine, the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Peach Club. Now I should say straight away this isn’t really a peach, it’s more of a hot pepper shade (funny as they have one called hot pepper too!), a nice reddy orange which looks beautiful on but if your buying online you should probably be aware it’s not a light peachy shade!

The Rouge Edition Velvets are probably the best liquid lipsticks out there, they glide on very easily, they don’t feel heavy or sticky and they stay put all day! I think my only gripe is the limited shade range- I’d love to see some lighter corals and pinks for summer. This particular shade works really well for both day and evening wear as it isn’t a neon shade it just gives that pop of colour without looking too much. I like that it doesn’t cling to dry patches and it doesn’t dry out the lips at all like some liquid lipsticks. All in all I can’t fault it at all and if your keen to invest in one of the many liquid lipsticks that have been launched recently I’d really recommend the Rouge Edition Velvets!
