My Luxury Bath Essentials

Whenever I am having a bad day or have been really overworked and stressed, the one thing that makes me feel better is the thought of a nice hot bath filled with giant fragrant bubbles and a silky bath oil for total relaxation. I have tried and tested lots of different bath products but I have finally managed to find my 3 go to products. They are the products I always re-buy and I know I will always finish my bath feeling totally chilled and with lovely soft skin when I use them!

This is my go to bath oil before a night out or even a pampering night in. It smells absolutely heavenly, like a rose garden in summer and you only need a tiny amount, it disperses in the water and makes your whole bathroom smell gorgeous. It is one of the best bath oils on the market in my opinion. It doesn’t leave any greasy residue in the bath like some oils, it leaves a a lovely scent on the skin too which lasts all day. I know it seems a bit pricey but a bottle of this lasts me near on 6 months, if you imagine how many pampering products you buy in 6 months I bet they come to more than £30 . A real classic luxury pampering product!

When I need a bit more energy or I need cherring up this is the bath product I reach for. It smells so fresh, like freshly squeezed lemons and it really lifts your mood. I like to use this when I have a bit of extra time in the mornings but I know I have a long day ahead of me, it is really energising and uplifting. You need about a capful for a full bath so it does run out a bit quicker than the Rose Otto Bath Oil but I have no problem repurchasing this one. It’s worth noting that I actually first discovered this in a mini set of bath oils from Dr Hauchska that my Dad picked up for me in John Lewis. There were quite a few other fragrances to choose from but this was my favourite!

I love these bubbles for lots of different reasons. They create the biggest and most fragrant bubbles I have ever seen, you only need a capful for a bath full of bubbles and they don’t disappear when you have bath oil in the bath! A lot of bath bubbles don’t work well with bath oils but if anything these work really well alongside the bath oil and create a lovely relaxing atmosphere. I have tried loads of bath bubbles but this £5 bottle is my holy grail!
