MUA Lash Boom Mascara
When I first saw this latest offering from MUA I have to admit I was pretty impressed, the brush is really great for a £3 mascara and ends with a sphere like applicator which makes getting your corner lashes VERY easy. I am blessed with long eyelashes so I do find that I can usually get away with even the cheapest of mascaras. Actually as I type that I realise that sounds like all cheap mascaras are rubbish, well I would say that a lot of higih end mascaras are totally pants and I nearly always prefer the mid-price ones from Maybelline or Max Factor. That being said I am partial to a Seventeen mascara and Bourjois and GOSH are also pretty great for drugstore buys too! This one however was not one of the best I have tried from the budget mascara section. I would actually have to say it is one of the worst and I think my pictures give a pretty clear indication of why!
The brush definitely looks impressive but unfortunately it just didn’t translate to application, I found it just coated my lashes in product without lifting or lengthening them. I would go so far as to say it just weighed my lashes down with product making them look sparse and flat! Talking of product the actual mascara is the wettest formula I have ever experienced! I left it to dry for a full 2 minutes and just one slightly long blink made the horror show that is the picture above! I didn’t like this one at all and to be honest I think MUA would be better off concentrating on the products they do so well such as the new One Direction range which is awesome, and their blushers, lipsticks and mini nail polishes all of which are amazing quality!
If you do still want to give the Lash Boom Mascara a try it costs £3 and you can purchase it here!

I’m with Inez, ahhaha.

Oh dear! At least it’s not a massive amount of money wasted, I guess. I don’t have time for products that mean sitting waiting for them to dry for ages, I want to put it on and be done! Haha.
