Topshop Lips: Straight Ace

31/10/2013 · beauty · 0

This is more of a ‘first impressions’ post as I have only worn this lipstick a few times, I had to share it with you though because I am (not so) slowly falling in love with it! It is a magenta/purple toned lipstick which I would never usually pick up but after trying out a few of the Collection Little Mix shades I was feeling adventurous and decided to give this one a go. Boy am I glad that I did! I love everything about this lipstick, the tone is cool which makes my teeth look extra white, the formula is moisturizing and you need very little prep work (it doesn’t highlight flaky/dry lips) and most importantly I have found it lasted really well on my lips, about 5/6 hours both times I wore it. I actually picked up another lipstick at the same time so I will pop a review of that up later in the week too if you would like to see it? I opted for beatnik which is an almost perfect match for my lips!
Topshop Lips in Straight Ace costs £8 and is available here.

Oh that’s a lovely shade! I want to buy more Topshop lippies but I really don’t like their packaging. 🙁

I love the packaging but apparently, the paint sticks to some place? So… yeah 🙁 I think they’re a great MAC alternative though, in terms of quality and color. 🙂
