Christmas Gift Guide: £30 and Under

12/12/2019 · beauty, charlotte · 1

Ok it’s officially christmas gift guide season! I am so excited to share with you some of the best under £30 gifts I’ve found for this year. I have tried to take a more sustainable stance in my shopping and the guides, not just featuring ethical products but also better quality gifts that people actually want (so no more singing, dancing father christmas toys!)

I’ve picked some beautiful skin and body care products, the beautiful L’occitane Body Cream and their hydrating Lip Balm are must haves (in fact anything L’occitane will get you major brownie points!) Every year I get a little gift set from Dr Hauschka and I am always over the moon to receive it, their products are incredible and the hydrating hand cream is a hand bag essential. You cannot go wrong with a beautiful fragrance and to make things a little more interesting I have included the Tocca hair mist in Cleopatra. Each fragrance in the Tocca brand is names after one of the female founders and tells their story through scent. It’s such an empowering brand and I highly recommend the perfumes, they are beautifully packaged, smell absolutely incredible and aren’t like any other perfumes I’ve tried before!Christmas is a good time of year to gift some gorgeous skincare, I have included something completely new to me, Pure Silk Beauty Cocoons from Holistic Silk. Rumour has it they were used by Chinese Princesses and are a natural collagen boosting and ecological way to exfoliate, cleanse and treat skin. The brand itself are fair trade, use gorgeous organza bags for packaging instead of single use plastic and have a strong focus on supporting women and focus on training and development in their factory in India to equip women with real skills to help them work and find employment opportunities. A luxury gift with heart. I have also included the Fushi essential oil discovery set, filled with 6 mini fresh pressed essential oils it’s the perfect foray into more natural skincare! For smaller stocking filler style presents you cannot go wrong with a gorgeous mug, a sparkly purse, some beautiful gloves or a selection of little hair and jewellery trinkets. I am absolutely in love with this little Star Sign Trinket Box, I’ve filled it with some festive but new years appropriate jewellery (the star sign necklace and the hair slides are a Primark steal and the gorgeous star earrings and glittery hair clip are from Asda!) I also included the iconic Ardell lashes in one of their christmas gift sets, such a perfect stocking filler, I am already trying to pick my favourites to wear for New Years Eve!

Last but definitely not least I’ve picked out two books, Great Goddesses, a mix of mythology, poetry and feminism (whats not to like?!) and The Witches Way, a guide for the modern day witch, are you sensing a female empowerment theme yet?

Phew, that was a bumper guide and it’s only part 1 of 3! I really hope I’ve given you some great gift ideas that are a bit different and if you do find anything you like from the guides make sure you leave me a comment and let me know!
