the perfect bioderma dupe?

23/03/2014
Bioderma £9.99 for 400ml bottle
Garnier Micellar Water £4.99 for 500ml bottle
I have to say I love me some Bioderma, it’s no replacement for a proper cleansing routine but on lazy days it’s perfect for quick makeup removal! I have tried a fair few micellar waters but none have come close to Bioderma, that is until now! Garnier recently released their Micellar Cleansing Water and on first inspection it bares more than a passing resemblance to it’s high end counterpart! Product-wise I found the Garnier Miceller Water to be ever bit as good as Bioderma, it easily removed my eye makeup with no stinging or redness (unlike the B Pure one!) and it is completely scentless which I personally love! I found this as gentle as normal water and I actually prefer it to Bioderma, it just edges it in the eye makeup removal process and at £4.99 for a 400ml bottle (compared with £9.99 for a 500ml bottle of Bioderma) I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

I love the Micellar Water craze by ‘drugstore’ brands recently! Especially because BioDerma is less available in stores, and obviously the price!

Having tried and test the L’Oreal Micellar Water, I believe that drugstore brands are just as good. I have recently picked up one from another brand called ‘B. Pure’ whose packaging I fell in love with!

I was a bit skeptical with the Garnier version as for some reason I never really use their makeup, nonetheless their BB Cream was pretty good when I had swatched it in store, yet I never purchased it!

Thanks for the review, I will try out the Garnier Version now! haha!
