I am the pickiest person when it comes to haircare products. I always feel like when I have been using cheap products on my hair it looks dull and is impossible to style. I usually use Redken All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner and Frederik Fekkai Salon Technician Rapid Results Moisture Masque which all cost a fair but are just perfect for my hair! I have been making a big effort to cut back on spending because we are moving house (are you as sick of hearing me talk about moving as I am planning it!?) and also because in these recession filled times anyway I can find to help out with household bills etc makes a real difference! I picked up this Tresemme split remedy intensive conditioner after trying it once before and really enjoying the results. Some of you asked me to review it on here for you so here goes!
Upon opening this intensive conditioner I noticed it had a really fresh smell, the texture of it was quite surprising though, it feels almost like a shampoo or a cheap conditioner. For that reason I was sure it wouldn’t give very good results but I massaged it in and left it for 5 minutes before rinsing and could tell as soon as it was rinsing out it had left my hair soft and manageable. I found it very easy to comb my hair through afterwards and it blow dried straight with a bit of volume. My hair felt nourished and not at all weighed down (this can happen with my hair as it is quite fine). I found the ombre bleached ends were very soft and the colour actually seemed a tad brighter. All in all this was an absolute winner for me and I will definitely be repurchasing once I have used this one up. I have been using this since I first bleached my hair about 2 months ago and where my hair should be all but ruined (I haven’t even had it trimmed since then!) the ends are strong and my cut still looks good. For £5.69 I think it is an absolute steal!
