Collection Gothic Glam Lipstick: Revenge

I have to admit I don’t really think I am cool enough to pull off a dark lip, they are definitely for girls who don’t end up with lipstick on their teeth! But for some reason I was drawn to this range and just had to pop this lipstick in my basket! From Collection’s Gothic Glam range, I picked the shade ‘Revenge’ which on the surface looks to be the darkest of the 3 lipsticks in the collection, but it in fact swatches (and applies) as a sort of blackberry/cherry shade. I absolutely loved this, the formula is similar to MAC cremesheens so it feels very moisturizing on the lips and it goes on like a dream- I applied straight from the bullet for a more intense colour payoff, but it would look really nice applied lightly with a brush as a sort of lip stain.
I didn’t use a lipliner (terrible beauty blogger that I am I don’t have one that would match this shade!) but I found it didn’t bleed and only needed touching up after about 3 hours. I won’t lie and say it’s the easiest shade to pull off but I think it’s a lovely shade for pale girls who want to try the dark lipstick trend without looking dead! I definitely think Collection are having a bit of a moment, the products (especially their new releases) are great quality and so affordable that you can be a little braver with your choices as your not splurging on high end!

I like it very much. As you say, it fits pale girls very much so, I will look for a similar one within my collection.
